STOP SMOKING, STOP EATING WHEN YOU'RE ANXIOUS, STOP BEING ANXIOUS, STOP HOLDING YOUR BREATH, STOP HUNCHING OVER AT THE COMPUTER, STOP GETTING ANGRY WHEN THINGS DON'T LINE UP RIGHT, STOP FEELING SCARED, STOP WORRYING ABOUT WHAT OTHERS ARE THINKING, STOP IMAGINING THE WORST CASE SCENARIO AND STOP BEATING YOURSELF UP TODAY AND FOR THE REST OF 2019.
In 2020, feel free to go back to all those habits, but this year, in 2019, starting today, step up and be the best version of yourself, okay! OKAY!
I know it's not possible to be the best version of yourself every single second of every single day, but over the course of the day you can look back and say, I didn't slink back. I stepped up!
step one: step up
step two: fail and revert to old self
step three: step up
step four: fail and revert to old self
step five: step up
step six: fail and revert to old self
step seven: give up!
Isn't that what everybody else does?
But what if you didn't give up, what if you decided not to be like the old self, and like everybody else, and you determined to make it all the way to step 201, where the cycle changes and it looks more like this?:

step 203: step up
step 204: step up
step 205: step up
step 206: fail and revert
step 207: step up again never give up
step 208: step up
step 209: step up
step 210: step up
Do you see the pattern changing after more attempts? Can you imagine being the person that you know you are on the inside? It's time to stop waiting for things to change, for motivation to strike, for circumstances to force you in a different direction. It's time to become who you really are and do what you are really capable of. It's time to believe!
